before tumblr i never knew there were so many things to be offended about
before tumblr i never knew just how much i’ve hurt people, how deeply ingrained systems of oppression are, how much of a role intersectionality plays

Come Holy Ghost
Hi Everybody, I know this is not a chart.
Some of you who have been following this blog for a few years may have been wondering why the rate of posting has gone down this year. In large part, it’s because I have been working on an album — an album that means a great deal to me, entirely written, recorded, mixed, produced and performed by my group, amuse-bouche, and featuring a 16-person choir.
Well, the album comes out today! We are streaming the album for free for today only, so please consider giving it a listen and letting me know what you think. Just drop me an ask with any thoughts you have and I promise I will get back to everybody.
And if you enjoy, please do share. I’m not going to make any money off this — any sales are going to recouping production costs — I just want people to listen, because this is music I’ve been working on for four years, and I’m really excited to share it with you guys. I really hope you enjoy.
Hugs and hand-pounds,
This is really good

I am a fan of GSRM (Gender, Sexuality, and Romantic Minorities)
easy to remember, not too many letters, more encompassing, doesn’t have the same hierarchy that LGBT sort of has (where the LG takes priority over the BT, also then the other letters are often left off) (also romantic added in hellz yeah)
we should all use this term ya’ll
also kicks out those “A for Ally” people which I’m all for

It’s been a while since I heard from you. How’ve you been? Things have been okay for me. I’ve still been up to the same old business. But it still isn’t the same without you around. I still think about you around the holidays, wondering if we’ll hear from you in the winter. You never mail us back, but I still check my computer and my snail mail.
I was digging around through some old things the other day, and you’ll never guess what I found. It was some of our old home videos! Oh man, those things were so cheesy, but I still say that they’re better than most of the movies that come to theaters nowadays. (Really, those times when you used your brother as your stunt double were seamless.) You always had some new idea for a show or cartoon or something. Then there were all the music videos—I’m still waiting for you to come out with an album, you know. You were always better at singing than drawing… I remember rocking out to those glam metal hair bands in the car, knocking back cold ones, and busting out the squeedleys on your air guitar.
How is everybody? Your brothers aren’t bothering you too much, are they? Well, your baby brother at least. I know that the big guy and you are probably fine, raising heck for that old fat chump, right? Does that guy with the hat still break into your house? Man, we used to hang out with a lot of weirdos. (To this day, I don’t know what the gym coach was ever trying to say.) I know it’s hard being the only cool dude in an entire town, but I know you don’t ever let that slow you down. It’s hard to find anyone that comes up with schemes like you anymore. Everyone here’s just loafing.
I just think about the good old days and just ask myself questions. Did you ever get that threequel finished? What kind of awesome Halloween costume did you get for last year? …Did you ever buy a game console that didn’t have less processing power than a toaster? I kid, I kid.
I just get to thinking sometimes and I really wish I’d hear from you again. I’m dragging on a bit now, so I’ll wrap it up. Heck, knowing your luck with computers I’ll be lucky if this ever gets to you. Don’t be a stranger, I’m always hoping to see you some time.
Oh, my God.
